Working with Real Estate Agents

One of the first things to consider when buying or selling a property is to decide how you will be Working Real Estate Agents.  There are actually several types of “Agency” relationships when it comes to working real estate agents in Georgia.  Below is a quick link to the full overview that should help you decide which role (or Agency type), if any, you want a real estate agent to play in your transaction.

Working with Real Estate Agents

Working with real estate agents can really be simplified though… Just ask yourself: “Do I want a professional representing my interests so I get this right the first time?”  If you are a homeowner looking to sell your property, and you want to hire a Listing Broker it is called “Seller Agency”.  If you are looking to buy and you want your own agent, it is called “BuyerAgency“.  Our team provides both services but never through the same agent at the same time.  It’s not illegal if you disclose it.  We just believe for you get to get true representation, you need someone who is looking after your interests above all others in the transaction.  As the saying goes – You cannot play both sides of the fence.
